Equipment

  • Small saucepan or kettle
  • Tea strainer (if using loose leaves)
  • Teacup
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon loose green tea leaves or 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon natural honey
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

Step 1: Brew The Tea

  • Heat the water until it just starts to boil, then take it off the heat and let it sit for about 30 seconds so it’s not too hot (around 80–85°C is perfect). Add your loose green tea leaves or a tea bag and let it steep for 2–3 minutes. Once done, strain out the leaves or remove the tea bag.

Step 2: Add Flavour & Serve

  • While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Give it a good mix, then serve right away to enjoy the best taste and benefits.
