This Green Tea Recipe is a simple, refreshing beverage made with hot water, green tea leaves, honey, and a splash of lemon juice. It takes only a few minutes to prepare, making it perfect for busy mornings or relaxing evenings. The gentle steeping process preserves the tea’s natural antioxidants and delicate flavor.
Heat the water until it just starts to boil, then take it off the heat and let it sit for about 30 seconds so it’s not too hot (around 80–85°C is perfect). Add your loose green tea leaves or a tea bag and let it steep for 2–3 minutes. Once done, strain out the leaves or remove the tea bag.
Step 2: Add Flavour & Serve
While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Give it a good mix, then serve right away to enjoy the best taste and benefits.
