Ingredients
  

  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons black tea or 4 black tea bags
  • 2 –3 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 –2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • A few fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Make The Tea:

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot or kettle. Once it’s boiling, remove it from the heat and add your black tea either loose leaves or tea bags. Let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how strong you like it. Then, remove the tea leaves or bags.

Sweeten And Cool:

  • While the tea is still warm, stir in 2–3 tablespoons of sugar. Let the tea come down to room temperature, then pour it into a pitcher and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill.

Serve And Enjoy:

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, add a splash of lemon juice, and top with fresh mint leaves. Give it a gentle stir and enjoy your refreshing drink!
