Chrysanthemum Tea Recipe is a traditional Chinese herbal beverage celebrated for its delicate floral aroma and soothing properties. Made with dried chrysanthemum flowers, a dried gardenia fruit, and lightly sweetened with rock sugar or honey, this tea is naturally fragrant and mildly sweet.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons dried chrysanthemum flowers
  • 1 dried gardenia fruit
  • 2 cups water
  • 2-3 tablespoons rock sugar or honey depending on sweetness preference
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Make The Tea:

  • Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the water’s bubbling, reduce the heat and let it simmer. Toss in the dried chrysanthemum flowers, dried gardenia fruit, and a pinch of salt.

Sweeten And Enjoy:

  • Let the flowers and gardenia steep for around 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to mingle. When it’s done, strain the tea into your cups if you prefer. Then, stir in 2-3 tablespoons of rock sugar or honey, depending on how sweet you like it. Serve it hot and enjoy!
