Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh dandelion roots cleaned and finely chopped
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or ½ teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

Step 1: Simmer The Roots

  • Put the chopped dandelion root (fresh or dried) into a small pot of boiling water. Lower the heat and let it gently simmer for around 10 minutes so the flavor comes out.

Step 2: Strain And Drink

  • Pour the liquid through a strainer into a cup. Add a bit of honey or a squeeze of lemon if you like, give it a stir, and drink while it’s still warm.
