  • Cup or teapot

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus petals also called hibiscus flowers
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sweetener honey or sugar, based on preference
  • 2 cups of fresh water
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

Step 1: Brew The Tea

  • Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the dried hibiscus petals, lower the heat, and let it gently simmer for about 8–10 minutes until the liquid becomes a rich red color and develops a strong flavor.
