Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Instructions
 

Step 1: Mix The Base Ingredients

  • Grab a medium saucepan and pour in the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, butter, and corn syrup. Give it a good stir until everything comes together smoothly.

Step 2: Add The Spices

  • Now toss in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, black pepper, salt, chili powder, and a splash of Tabasco. Stir it well so the flavors are evenly spread throughout.

Step 3: Let It Simmer

  • Set the pan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Once it starts bubbling lightly, lower the heat and let it cook for about 10–13 minutes. Stir now and then until the sauce thickens a bit.

Step 4: Cool And Store

  • Take the pan off the heat and let the sauce cool down completely. Pour it into a sealed container and keep it in the fridge. It tastes even better after sitting for a few hours.
