Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons grainy mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce or to taste

Put Everything Together

  • In a small pot, pour in maple syrup, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Add paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, grainy mustard, and hot sauce.

Mix It Smooth

  • Whisk everything well so the sauce becomes evenly blended with no lumps.

Cook It Down

  • Place the pot on medium heat until it starts to gently bubble, then lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10–12 minutes. Stir now and then so it doesn’t stick.
